Sunday Morning Adult Education: Sacrament of Communion

Welcome to the study of the Sacrament of Communion. We will compare and contrast different doctrines with our Lutheran Confession of what is Communion. We will look into what Baptism is and what Baptism is not, as well as the relationship we must have with God when we take Communion as well as how it strengthens that relationship. We join Pastor Horacio to have conversations, ask questions, and delve more in depth into who we are as Lutheran Christians.

Below you can find the recordings of the previous classes in the series. They can also be found on the Creator YouTube channel.

Adult Education: Ragged

Ragged: Conversations about Spiritual Practices ran during the month of February, 2022. Below you will find the legacy posting of the series and any media associated with it.

Throughout the month of February we will be holding small group conversations in the Multi-purpose room to dive a bit deeper into the Spiritual Practices outlined in the Ragged book. Our resources will include, the Ragged book, the study guide for the book, and you are each welcome and encouraged to bring other resources on the highlighted topics that have been helpful to you in your faith life. The Ragged book is a launching point to address these topics, interaction with the material is encouraged — agreeing or disagreeing. Part of the journey is to discern what you need individually at this time, and what we need communally as well. We look forward to our conversations and enriching each other’s lives.

Lord’s Prayer Class

The Lord’s Prayer Class ran from September 26th to November 7th, 2021. Below you will find the legacy posting of the series as well as a link to a playlist of the recordings from the class.

Why do we pray? How did Jesus teach us to pray through the Lord’s Prayer? This prayer connects to our relationship with God, God’s benefits to us and teaches us how to use God’s promises in our daily life.

The seven week class led by Pastor Amanda took a deep dive into prayer and how it affects our lives. The recordings of the class can be found on the church’s YouTube channel:
