Advent Adventures

Each Wednesday during the season of Advent, we gather for Worship and service from 7pm-8pm.  After 30 minutes of Worship, we’ll move into the Multipurpose room for a service project (organizing donations and making Christmas cards to accompany donated items).  Below you will find details on all of the Advent Adventure events.

A bin is set up in the narthex to collect donations.

December 1

Children, Youth, and Family team has planned a project to collect pajamas and books for families with children through White River Outreach.  Donations of new children’s pajamas and children’s books are appreciated.

December 8

Church in Society is providing kits for the homeless to be distributed by New Hope Resource Center.   You can help by donating Chapsticks, small personal care items like hand lotion, individually wrapped candy canes or granola bars.

December 15

Poor Dave’s Market (owned and operated by Creator members, David and Brandy Brown) will provide soup dinners for those visiting the Senior Centers in our area.  If you would like to help this project, please donate $5 for a family of 2, or $7 for a family of 4.  Cash donations can be made in person at church or follow the link below to pay online.

December 22

Middle School and High School Students from Creator will come together to make Gingerbread houses after Worship.  If you would like to contribute bags of Christmas Candy to help them build their creations, please drop a bag or two into the bin in the narthex.  Powdered sugar and graham crackers are also needed.  Their creations will be shared within their own families or donated to an Assisted Living facility in Sumner.
