Youth and Family

The mission of Creator’s Youth and Family Ministry team is to bring God’s Children closer to their Heavenly Father. Through discussion of the word and sharing of fellowship we hope to deepen our children’s faith and develop a life-long relationship with Christ.

Our youth ministry deliberately guides young people into Christian discipleship by:

  • Involving youth and their families in a safe and Christian community,
  • Encouraging them to live spiritually rich, God-centered lives,
  • And preparing them to impact their world for Christ.

Wednesday Evenings from September through May from 7:00pm-8:30pm

For students in 9th – 12th grades:  Confirmation doesn’t have to end.  You can be a helper!  We need Peer Ministers to help out with Confirmation small groups, go on retreats, and lead devotions at youth group outings.  If you are interested in becoming a Peer Minister, plan to attend classes on Wednesdays during Confirmation time (7pm-8:30pm).   If you attend these classes and are properly trained, you can be a helper on retreats.

Creator Offers MOPS Program

What is MOPS?? Mops stands for Mother of Preschoolers, a program led by moms for moms with children ages 0 to 5. These mothers all have the shared desire - to be the best mothers they can be!

Our theme for this year is “A Fierce Flourishing”. We will do this through Celebrating Lavishly, Embracing Rest, and Noticing Goodness - as women, mothers and wives.

Mothers will meet for breakfast; listen to engaging speakers; complete crafts; and share in small group time. While mothers are meeting, their children are divided into age appropriate classes where they participate in fun, educational activities through the MOPPETS program.

Mom, YOU impact the world! Motherhood is an exciting journey – but it’s not one we should do alone!

Look for the Creator MOPS Meeting Dates about August.

For more information, please contact Kristin Liedtke through the Creator Lutheran Church office 253 862-7700

All Call Choir is for all ages and ability levels.  The music is simple enough to be learned in 3 rehearsals for all who participate, even those who may not have any experience in music.  Don't want to sing?  We also have a hand chimes option!  Please let Dani know if you're interested ahead of time (as she will need to create music parts).
