Creator Choir

This choir is for high school youth (grades 9-12) through adults and rehearses each Wednesday evening from 7:00-8:3o PM.   Choir members strengthen their relationship with each other each week through devotions and prayer and song.  The choir sings 2-3 times a month at both services (8:30 and 11), allowing 2-3 Sundays off a month to focus on worship and prepare music from many different genres (gospel, jazz, classical, contemporary and more).  Please click on the link to view the choir schedule for the fall (coming soon!).

Praise Team (11:00 leadership group)

All Call Choir is for all ages and ability levels.  The music is simple enough to be learned in 3 rehearsals for all who participate, even those who may not have any experience in music.  Don't want to sing?  We also have a hand chimes option!  Please let Dani know if you're interested at least once week prior to the first rehearsal (as she will need to create music parts).

All Call Christimas Choir Schedule 2017

Please commit to 2 regular rehearsals and the final rehearsal.  Music is TBD at this time and will be posted with practice links as soon as possible.

2016 Women's Retreat

The Women’s Retreat Oct 14 - 16 was enjoyed by all who attended.  Many blessings were experienced as Pastor Sigi Helgeson led us through sessions from Living Compass.  We focused on balance and explored practices for Heart, Soul, Mind and Strength Spiritual practices.  Many new friendships were made and it was a great time to quiet the busyness of our daily lives. We finished our sessions on Saturday night with a meaningful Prayers Around the Cross service. Katrina, Thank you organizing the prayer bead craft project.  We had so much fun making our beautiful creations.  I’ve heard from many how they have incorporated these into their prayer practices. Thank you Nancy for the gift bags filled with treasures.  Karen B, thanks for your leadership with music and song!  I have many pictures posted on our Creator Women's Retreat Facebook sight.  Please let me know if you need added to this closed facebook group.  Also please be thinking of topics you would like for next year, Janice Pendergast;

Bridge of the Goddess Run and visit to see Pastor Jonette

In Sept a few ladies from the Women's Evening study group spent a wonderful weekend in Cascade Locks, Oregon and Stevenson, Wa. We met up with Pastor Jonette on the Bridge of the Gods where we participated in a 10K.  It was challenging and beautiful.  Then spent the rest of the day relaxing at the rental house we had for the weekend.  Sunday we enjoyed participating in a special Native American service at Pastor Jonette's Shephard of the Hills church.

Men's Group Serves At Peace Lutheran

The Creator Men's Group recently were meal servers at the Tacoma Peace Lutheran Church free meals program for the Tacoma Hill Top area. In addition, one of the Girl Scout Troops meeting at Creator joined in on the serving experience. It was a great evening for all involved. Thank you to all of those Creator members who prepared the food and coordinated the event. We would highly recommend this activity for any Creator Small Group, Bible study, or ministry team. We practice loving God by loving another human.

If you would like more information on the Peace Lutheran or the Mountain View Lutheran feeding programs, contact Paula Eiseman through the Church Office, 253 862-7700.
