Church In Society

The mission of the Church in Society Team is to engage members in helping those in need by distributing 4% of our Sunday offering to social agencies and other charitable causes within our communities.  Additionally the team encourages personal involvement by providing opportunities for our members such as participating in the Pierce County Hunger Walk, volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, sharing gifts with families who might not have Christmas, having food drives, clothing drives, etc when appropriate and providing food and serving dinners at several churches that host meals for those in need.

Meeting times are the first Tuesday of the Month at the church beginning at 7 pm

Come join us.

Thanks to all the supporters and Vacation Bible School kids for bringing school supplies and backpacks  to Creator that  helped our back to school efforts. Kids throughout the Sumner and White River School Districts came well prepared to school with our help!

The Creator Men's Group recently were meal servers at the Tacoma Peace Lutheran Church free meals program for the Tacoma Hill Top area. In addition, one of the Girl Scout Troops meeting at Creator joined in on the serving experience. It was a great evening for all involved. Thank you to all of those Creator members who prepared the food and coordinated the event. We would highly recommend this activity for any Creator Small Group, Bible study, or ministry team. We practice loving God by loving another human.

If you would like more information on the Peace Lutheran or the Mountain View Lutheran feeding programs, contact Paula Eiseman through the Church Office, 253 862-7700.
